The Chill Out zone is a place outside for you to take a break from all the activity. Relax on a picnic blanket and have a snack or your lunch. Grab a coffee and catch your breath. If you’re a business that caters to chilling out, this might be a place for you. Anyone for some kids’ yoga?

Patersonia is developing new options in education for 3-12 year olds in the Launceston area.  We currently offer an Outdoor Playgroup on Friday mornings. Being part of a community garden gives young families opportunities to be active together; develop a sense of belonging to our community; develop shared language and questioning through rich sensory experiences offered by the garden environment; build social and emotional skills through free unstructured play with loose parts in the garden landscape. We are working towards opening a preschool and primary school.

Come and visit us outside the Silverdome today where kids can play in the mobile mud kitchen; make newspaper pots for seedlings; plant a seed; and construct and investigate with upcycled loose parts accessed from Launceston Recycling Centre and Uptipity.
